On the 21st March, I presented at Data Sciences Speakers Club the talk “Statistics, Fast and Slow”. This presentation is a summary and impressions from a chapter of the book “How to Make the World Add up” by Tim Hartford.
I have been enjoying Tim Harford’s book a lot because it covers the different rules of how to make sense of numbers and magnitudes to understand what it is behind data (and what it is not!). The chapter of the book that I am covering also got inspired by the book from Daniel Kahneman “Thinking, Fast and Slow”
